Actress Kim Yoo Ri will play smart and charming con artist Seo Jane in the upcoming drama "Full Sun."

Her character is the criminal associate of Jung Se Ro, played by Yoon Kye Sang. He's a man who tried to live an honest life but after accidentally becoming involved in a murder, he becomes a swindler. She will help him mastermind cons.

The actress recently appeared in the Hong Sisters hit drama "The Master's Sun" with So Ji Sub, Gong Hyo Jin and Seo In Guk. In that drama she played an actress who tries to seduce Seo In Guk. She was also the "little sun" to Gong Hyo Jin's big sun. And now she has a new chance to shine.

Here are some more facts you may not know about this actress.

1. She never meant to become an actress. She studied visual design at Kyung Hee University.

2. Her parents supported her while she auditioned for roles. They are probably happy with that choice as last year the actress earned a New Star Award at the 2013 SBS Drama Awards for her role in "The Master's Sun." She also won a Newcomer Actress award at the Apan Star Awards for her work in "The Master's Sun" and "Cheomdamdong Alice." In Cheomdamdong Alice, she played Moon Geun Young's boss and rival for the affections of the chaebol played by Park Shi Hoo.

3. She was very funny in "The Master's Sun" but she doesn't think of herself as funny or all that interesting.

"Tae Yi Ryung has this comical appeal to her," she said of her character. "I'm not that entertaining in real life. Those who watch the drama might think she's hilarious but only because actors more experienced than I am were able to help me along the way."

She was also hilarious when she possessed by a ghost obsessed with her looks.

4. Even though she does not think of herself as funny, the frying pan dance that she did in that drama was her idea.

"The frying pan dance is original," she said. She came up with the idea after she could not mimic a Jun Ji Hyun ad the director suggested so she tried to recreate the feeling of that ad. "Although I meant for it to come across as serious everyone told me that had fun watching it."

5. She grew close with her co-star Seo In Guk while they were filming the drama and it was suggested that they do a variety show together.

"Since I had the opportunity to grow close with Seo In Guk through our latest drama, I think it would be a lot of fun to do a variety program together," she said. "But, since I'm his senior- I don't know how interesting it would be,"

Still, they made a cute couple. "We Got Married" anyone?

"Full Sun" begins on Feb. 17.
