Both the Samsung Galaxy S5 hands-on review and a comparison review with Galaxy S4 are in.

Consumers are flocking to the Galaxy S5 but what about businesses. Is the Galaxy S5 something they can use?

Unfortunately, from a business angle the Galaxy S 5 does not offer a whole lot more than the S4.

It appears, the Korean electronic giant is playing it safe with the Samsung S5 unlike the more bold predecessor, the S4 or the Note 3. But there is some magic in all of this. The proximity to S4 specs keeps the S5 safer for upgrades.

If you trace back a number of problems to S4 and beyond, there have been a "cycle of major hardware upgrades happening over the first four generations," reports Techradar's Désiré Athow

In fact there is only one essential business centric hardware option that has been introduced in the S5. And that's an a brand new biometric.

The only major business-focused hardware improvement is a new biometric feature, a finger ID type function that may be utilized for mobile paypal-type payments. This is dubbed payment authentication and Samsung's deal with Paypal and other mobile payment agents are has signed an agreement with Paypal other mobile manufacturers are likely to tie up with Samsung too.

Of interest to business enterprise is software applications that Samsung will want to see into fruition. Samsung has already committed to sorting out it software. More than 50% of workers assigned to its R&D division work on software; this figure is expected to climb.

Hardware has been downplayed by the Samsung business users, it is the right time for Samsung to convince business owners that it has market leading applications that can enhance businesses.

If you look at Samsung's strategy carefully, the Seoul-based Korean phone maker gaining strength to capitalize on the KNOX entreprise service.

There have also been a number of announcements involving the Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance (GEMA) as well as Citrix and ZScaler. According to techradar.com, Samsung collaborated with GEMA to manage global mobility that is essential for crack enterprise market.

The big one though is happening tonight as none other than Samsung Electronics' President and CEO, JK Shin, will host a dinner and press conference to talk about how Samsung's products and solutions can help "businesses enhance their processes, empower workforce and lead your company forward in a rapidly changing environment."

I wouldn't bet against this event including news about KNOX and the Samsung Galaxy S5.
