Become an instant celebrity by heading to the Jurassic World casting call on Sunday, March 16! If you live in Kauai, Hawaii, then you are welcome to audition at the Performing Arts Center of Kauai Community College. The EBB Tide Productions casting directors will be on the lookout for new talents from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Make sure to mark your calendars since this is a once-in-a-lifetime shot to stardom.
So what are the directors looking for? Aside from being comfortable around huge predators and willing to get down and dirty, EBB Tide Productions has specific requirements. They are in search for men and women as well as children ages 10 to 15. They also encourage military types and people with different ethnicities including Europeans, Asians, African Americans, and Middle Easterners.
The Jurassic World Casting Call is expected to attract a lot of aspiring actors. Those who are planning to try out can bring along their family and friends. Don't forget to bring your favorite book or gadget (as long as it's on silent mode) to keep you company while waiting.
Jurassic 4 will be shot in various locations in Kauai including the Blue Hole, Hanapepe Valley, Olokeke Valley, and Manawaiopuna Falls. The setting of the movie is a dino theme park on Isla Nubar. Director Colin Trevorrow said, "It's no surprise that casting directors are looking for families as extras."
The "Safety Not Guaranteed" director also added, "It's important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there's a lot of people who just couldn't care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there's a 'Jurassic Park 4' in the first place and I want to make a movie for them too."
Trevorrow also revealed, "This is not a paycheck gig for me and it's not the movie that I'm making so I can make the movies that I really want to make. I actually want to make a kick-ass 'Jurassic Park' movie."
If you want to be part of Trevorrow's kick-ass flick, then show off your best act at the Jurassic World casting call on Sunday.
