Grant Gustin's Flash isn't the only one showing-off his costume - Matt Ryan's role as John Constantine in the new series now appears in full costume.

NBC's Constantine TV series officially releases its official image of Matt Ryan in full Constantine costume along with two behind-the-scenes group pictures of the show's crew and it is said that the photo is dedicated to a deceased camera assistant.

Staying true to the comics, Matt Ryan was able to pull the look, wearing the same brown trench coat, white long sleeved polo shirt, red tie, and the blond scruff look although no cigarette in hand that definitely looks like John Constantine from the comics.

The photo came from Slates For Sarah, a Facebook page dedicated to the memory of Sarah Elizabeth Jones, who died while working as a camera assistant for the film Midnight Rider

The new series stars Ryan along with Charles Halford as Constantine's buddy Chas, plus Harold Perrineau as the angel named Manny, and Lucy Griffiths as the marked-for-death-by-a-demon leading lady.

The pilot episode was written by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) and Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist) and is directed by Neil Marshall (Game of Thrones) .

Constantine was created by Alan Moore, Steve Bissette and Jamie Delano, with his first interior story art by Rick Veitch and John Totleben in 1985 in DC's The Saga Of The Swamp Thing. From there he became a recurring Swamp Thing character before flying solo for 300 issues in Hellblazer at Vertigo from 1988-2013. Since March of last year the character's resurfaced in a more PG-13 incarnation as part of DC's mainline New 52 continuity.
