"The Giver" actress also plans to return to television with an untitled ABC pilot project featuring a high-society drama about a New York City socialite.
On ending the five-year old fashion partnership, Katie Holmes got candid with Elle UK in a recent interview and said that it's difficult to juggle with the pressures of a burgeoning career and devote enough time to motherhood.
On concluding Katie Holmes' clothing line with Jeanne Yang on a high-note, the actress said, "I loved every minute of my time working on Holmes & Yang. I remain passionate about the design aesthetic we created, and I am so happy with what Jeanne and I accomplished."

When quizzed about the reason to close down the fashion label, the brunette beauty said, "I am now concentrating on acting and motherhood, which did not leave the label the time and attention it deserved."
The April issue of Elle will feature Katie Holmes getting candid on motherhood and life after Joey and Pacey.
