Lohud has reported that officials in a northern New Jersey town are discussing whether to allow taping of an MTV show featuring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's wedding.
Snooki has announced on her website that her 2014 wedding to Jionni LaValle will be "Great Gatsby" themed.
Mayor Joseph Delaney has told The Record newspaper that taping in Garfield could be a great thing whereas councilman Frank Calandriello worries about how the city will be portrayed.
The city's attorney is reportedly reviewing the contract as we speak.
While Snooki is busy shutting down rumors she's pregnant again as she plans her over-the-top wedding, BFF Jenni "JWoww" Farley has revealed her daughter's play room via her blog.
A pregnant JWoww stated, "Painting my daughter's play room with my BFF Joey Killeen! Alice In Wonderland theme! Disney inspired for my little princess!!"
The "JWoow & Snooki" star stated, "I pictured a boy this whole time, so when I saw a 'girl' on the paperwork, I was like 'No way!' But deep down I think I knew. Lorenzo is gonna have a BFF, and I couldn't be happier!"
Recently, Snooki came to the rescue when Joan Rivers commented on Lena Dunham's weight.
According to nj.com, "You're sending a message out to people saying it's okay, stay fat, get diabetes, everybody die. Lose your fingers."
Rivers stated, "I love that she's funny. I love that she did well ... but don't let them laugh at you physically."
The 80-year-old comedian added, "If you look the way you look, Lena, and that's fine, and you're funny, don't say it's okay that other girls can look like this. Try to look better."
Snooki commented, "I understand when she's trying to be funny, but at the expense of making fun of other people is just so tacky."
Apparenly for Snooki, it came as no surprise that Joan Rivers had made a mean comment once again.
She tweeted, "SHOCKER! @Joan_Rivers saying something mean? I apologize for her, @lenadunham #YOURFAB."
Lena Dunham responded, "@snooki @Joan_Rivers Thank you Snooki! ps excited by the opportunity to say that."
