Jennifer Lopez caused quite a bit of buzz when she decided to lip sync on America's biggest live singing show.
According to the Mirror, Jennifer Lopez didn't even lip sync well enough for some J-Lo fans to stand by her side and say she actually sang "I Luh Ya Papi."
The show's 8.3 million viewers saw that her mouth movements didn't match the lyrics of her new single, which caused uproar on Twitter.
One fan angrily tweeted, "This is a singing show, right?"
Another wrote, "Yo, J.Lo. You're judge on American Idol a LIVE singing competition. Try not to lip sync the next time you perform live."
Another Twitter user wrote, "Did J.Lo mime on the biggest live show in America? Shame."
This brings us back to the time when Beyonce was criticized for lip syncing at President Obama's inauguration last year.
Lopez had come to the defense of the "Drunk In Love" singer as she stated, "You know, sometimes it happens. When you're in certain stadiums and in certain venues, they do pre-record things. All performers do it."
Although Jennifer Lopez disappointed fans with her lip syncing, the Top 9 contestants of American Idol 2014 have only impressed the audience with their performances.
Hollywood Life took the time out to recognize the performance of Sam Woolf. He reportedly "melted hearts" with his version of "Hey There Delilah."
After last night's performances, everyone's next thought goes to who will be going home tonight.
Americanidolnet has made some predictions as to who will definitely be safe and who may be eliminated.
American Idol contestants Caleb Johnson, Malaya Watson, Alex Preston and Jena Irene are all suspected to be safe.
The 2014 contestants who are most likely safe (but still in danger) are Jessica Meuse and Sam Woolf.
Although Sam Woolf touched the hearts of many with his performance last night, his quality of his performances may not have been consistent enough to stay safe.
The bottom three are suspected to be Dexter Roberts, C.J. Harris and Majesty Rose while Majesty is highly suspected to be the one going home.
Whoever is going home among the 9 remaining singers for American Idol 2014 should be proud to know they didn't lip sync when J-Lo did.
