Rihanna and Eminem have announced their official "Monster Tour" dates. Eminem tweeted, "#TheMonsterTour in NYC/DET/LA with @Rihanna announced!" The three-city trek kicks off on August 7 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif, and end on August 23 in Eminem's hometown of Detroit. See the full list of tour dates and a link to ticket sales below.
Eminem was recently announced as the second best-selling male recording artist of all-time. The sales of Detroit rapper's latest album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" hit 2 million records sold last week. This gives Eminem a record sales total of 44.9 million; these numbers mean the 41 year old rapper surpasses country singer George Strait for the mark. Strait sold 44.89 million records in his 30-year long music career (however, it should be noted that Strait's career started before the inception of Nielsen SoundScan data).
Eminem recently wrapped up his "Rapture Tour" in Sydney, Australia at ANZ Stadium a few weeks ago. Mathers performed alongside fellow rappers Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Action Bronson, 360 and others. Eminem will also be on the cover of the April/May issue of XXL, as Em, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine share the magazine's cover for the first time together. Pop singer Rihanna wrapped up her Diamonds World Tour last year.
