2009 Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame inductee Metallica announced the live dates for next summer's European tour, revealed Guitar World.
The new dates for Metallica Tour 2014 will include stops in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria and Poland.
It is also the first time that Metallica will perform an all-request show as a tribute to their loyal fans who have been supporting the "Death Magnetic" band since their beginning in 1981. The James Hetfield- fronted group has introduced "Metallica By Request."
Fans who buy tickets online to these European dates are given the privilege to vote on the songs that Metallica will play at the show. Their traditional 18-song set will include the 17 top-voted songs. The choice for the 18th song will be the band's choice.

And in other good news, Metallica debuted a new song "Lords of Summer" which is their first in almost 5 years.
Though it is just a "Garage Demo" version of the track, Consequence of Sound praised the ferocity of the 8-minute single which recalls Metallica's "Kill "Em All" era.
