EA Sports UFC has a release date and a pretty awesome bit of pre-order bonus DLC! The Father of MMA, Bruce Lee is in the UFC!

The display shows a release date of June 17 for the PS4 and Xbox One MMA game, and mentions that pre-orders "get instant access to "The Father of Mixed Martial Arts", Bruce Lee.

Players can unlock Bruce Lee in flyweight, bantam weight, featherweight and lightweight divisions by finishing the game's career mode on pro difficulty or higher. Day one access is available by pre-ordering the game from select retailers. You can see Bruce Lee in action in the gameplay trailer below.

Now that Martial Arts legend Bruce Lee is in the game, gamers can now play out the various "dream fights" such as Bruce Lee vs Jose Aldo or Bruce Lee vs Anderson Silva if the game allows inter-division fights.

But can Bruce Lee really hang with the UFC fighters of today?

MMA Legend weighed in on the issue by saying that Bruce Lee can't hang with the elite fighters of today, much to chagrin of other Martial arts fans saying that Bruce Lee can hang and even beat the best fighters of today, including all of the UFC champions.

EA Sports UFC is the first licensed UFC game since EA acquired the license from THQ, and is in the works at Fight Night developer EA Canada
