After three years, Mark Wahlberg finally decided to bring back the boys on the big screen and fans of the HBO original series can't wait to hear some juicy Entourage movie spoilers. Based on reports, the release date of the film adaptation will be on June 12, 2015.
The hit TV show started airing back in 2004, but unfortunately ended in 2011 having finished eight seasons. The film will base its story on the last episode of the Entourage, which showed Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) getting married while his agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) and his best friend Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly) quit their job so that they can spend more time with their partners.
The post credits of the last episode showed Ari getting a call from John Ellis who offered him to be the CEO of Time Warner. The Entourage movie will now continue that story because their fans have been begging to find out if Ari had accepted that offer or not, and if Vince will finally settle down with his new wife.
During an interview with MTV, the creator of the HBO original series Mark Wahlberg revealed some Entourage movie spoilers and expressed how excited he was about the project. He said, "I always knew the fans wanted a movie. Everywhere I'd go, people are always asking me, 'What about Entourage? What about Entourage? When's the movie coming?' So it just took a long time."
The 42-year old actor added, "It took a long time to get it written, get it right, and we got a fantastic script. Warner Bros. is very excited about it. All the guys are excited. Getting everybody in the same place at the same time has been tough as well."
MTV also asked Wahlberg if he will make a cameo appearance. He said, "You know me, man. If they want me, I'm in. I'm listening in, buddy." Speaking of cameo roles, the Entourage movie will also feature big names in Hollywood including Billy Bob Thornton, Liam Neeson, and Haley Joel Osment.
Wahlberg also told IGN, "My goal as a creator is to make it feel like a film and not a long Entourage episode." The star of Ted explained, "We had a really cool idea and people always complained that the episodes were too short."
He added, "When you see it, it will seem like a thing that was pretty obvious and easy, but it was a thing that took people a long time to get their heads wrapped around. I think that the amount of time that we waited is actually pretty good for the movie and the audience."
It sure is worth the wait Mark Wahlberg! We will share more Entourage movie spoilers as soon as we gather new updates.
