Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo review comes just in time after the launch of its bigger sibling, the Samsung S5. With the release of a new flagship phone, Samsung has dropped prices after its release.
As far as the specs go, androidos reports, "Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo is a dual-SIM variant of Galaxy S3 with slightly more RAM and probably a different application processor (the exact make is unknown). The phone packs dual-SIM support, 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and Jelly Bean. The phone also packs 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, IR LED, and 2100 mAh battery."
According to another report by Gizbot, Samsung unveiled the Neo series and tablet device at Samsung's yearly Samsung Forum 2014. the event was a week ahead of the MWC 2014, where the Galaxy S5 was announced. the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is tipped to be among the top notch smartphones in the high-end price point.
Initially released in India, prices have been cut a second time to $535, which makes it a strong competitor with Nexus 5 and LGG2.
If you look at the specs, the Note 3 Neo looks just like the Note. However, the hardware differs. Running on Android Jelly Bean is not as smooth as Android KitKat 4.4, but Samsung has outfitted the "Galaxy Note 3 Neo with a hexa-core chipset with two 1.7GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex A7 cores. The advantage of the Hexacore processor is that the device will now be running all six cores simultaneously courtesy of Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP)."
According to retailers, a formal announcement but is anticipated. the Samsung India website, said Galaxy S3 neo has dual-SIM support, 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, and 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
