Do you want to see Taylor Swift star in a new TV show? There have been reports that the Grammy-Award winner will join the cast of the HBO original series "Girls". According to sources, the 24-year old singer will be doing a cameo appearance in the award-winning TV show.
It has been reported that Taylor is a huge fan of the television series and she is also close to the creator of the HBO series, Lena Dunham. The producers are still negotiating with the singer's manager but there is a huge chance that she will become one of the girls soon.
A source told Graizia, "Lena's been trying to persuade Taylor to appear in 'Girls' for ages." The insider added, "Taylor loves the show and has agreed to a cameo." I'm sure this got all TSwift fans excited because the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer fits well in this series.
Further news was revealed by the source to the British Magazine: "Lena would also love her to take on a more permanent role and to pen some music for the show." That's awesome! We may finally see Taylor Swift in her new TV show and with some cool cast as well.
According to reports, another young star is also being courted by the creator of the HBO series. British supermodel Cara Delevigne might also appear on the sitcom. Gossip columnist Perez Hilton reported, "Taylor told Lena that Cara is a huge fan of 'Girls'. Lena immediately agreed because Cara is her girl crush."
Don't say that to Michelle Rodriguez because she may get jealous. But anyways, the gossiper also said, "She (Lena) has been in touch with Cara's people already to discuss the idea." Looks like "Girls" is gearing up for a star-studded new season. Aside from Taylor and Cara, Irish comedian Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids) and J Crew creative director Jenna Lyons will also appear in the new series, according to reports.
