One of the most controversial accounts in the world of social media is James Franco's Instagram because of the weird photos that he has been posting recently. Dubbed as the 'King of Selfie', the actor enjoys posting pictures of himself, but maybe he has gone too far this time.

"This Is The End" star recently posted a near naked photo on Instagram, but he removed it after a few hours. The 36-year old actor faces the bathroom mirror and appears to be sweating wearing nothing but his boxers. He had his right hand covering just above his sensitive part, which was quite disturbing.

This wasn't the first time that James Franco posted something bizarre on his Instagram account. Most of his selfies are taken in his bedroom while lying down in bed. He even has bed seflie with Keegan Allen of "Pretty Little Liars".

Despite the recent James Franco Instagram scandal that involved a teenage girl, the actor can't stop himself from posting controversial photos. During an interview at The Howard Stern Show, the actor tried to clear his name and explained what happened.

James said, "The way that the news wants to kind of do it, because these are the flashy headlines, I am pursuing...young women." He explained, "I'm not going to high schools looking for dates. I'm leaving my work and they're coming there!" The actor claims that he met the 17-year-old Lucy Clode outside his Broadway show in New York.

The "Spring Breakers" star further explained, "So I'm just seeing attractive women. And look, my fan base is like 17-year-old girls. If I do a book signing, it'll be 17-year-old to 30-year-old women. That's my biggest fan base. So I saw her, and she's saying on her page, 'I love James Franco, blah blah blah.'"

James recalled, "I was a gentleman. I said, 'Do you have a boyfriend?'" He added, "And her response was, 'Not when you're around.' So that, to me, sounds like, okay, she's interested." Lucy shared her conversation with the actor via Instagram, but he doesn't blame her for doing that.

He said, "I don't think she posted it knowing what was going to happen." James added, "She even took it down. But again, it was too late. And my sense is it turned bad on her." The actor also said, "Now people want to say I victim-bashed her." He added, "How is she a victim? I was like anybody, just trying to meet somebody. It's just that my dirty s--t gets put out internationally."

I wonder what will appear next on James Franco's Instagram account. Maybe it's about time he does a Selena Gomez act and cleanup his posts.
