Ben Affleck tweeted earlier today about the card counting scandal he found himself in this past weekend. The "Batman Vs. Superman" actor was kicked out of the Hard Rock in Las Vegas for allegedly counting cards. Affleck was reportedly playing blackjack at a high rollers' table when he was spotted counting cards by security. Hard Rock banned him from playing blackjack at the casino. The comment was a retweet from The Howard Stern Show, where Howard Stern defended Affleck and said that the situation was simply proof that Las Vegas casinos don't let their patrons win. Affleck agreed with Stern, tweeting, "Interesting point Howard. MT @sternshow: @HowardStern defends @BenAffleck - saying Ben did nothing wrong & it proves Vegas won't let you win"
Ever since Affleck was announced to play Batman in the highly anticipated "Batman Vs. Superman," there have been rumors that his friend Matt Damon could join the cast. Damon recently joked to CNBC Meets in an interview, "Since they made Ben Batman, I've been showing up at his house every day dressed as Robin, but my little campaign I don't think has gone too well so far. If dressing up in yellow tights somehow moved the needle on this issue, I would be willing to do that." Damon added, "But it's safe to say I won't be Robin."
The highly anticipated "Batman vs Superman" film which will hit theaters on May 6, 2016, stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent aka Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent). The film will be directed by Zack Snyder. Details have yet to be released regarding the plot of the film, although the title points to the fact that Batman and Superman may not be playing the same side in the movie. During a ComicCon panel celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Superman, screenwriter David Goyer told the audience, "We're actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it's-that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that's happening."
