Maya Rudolph's show, "The Maya Rudolph Show" is finally coming to television on Monday, May 19 (10 pm ET/PT)! NBC has released the first promo for what looks like will be an amazing and hilarious hour of comedy television with the beloved Saturday Night Live veteran.

The pilot episode of Rudolph's variety show will feature guest stars Andy Samberg, Fred Armisen, Kristen Bell, and Chris Parnell. SNL head Lorne Michaels is serving as executive producer of "The Maya Rudolph Show." Diallo Riddle and Bashir Salahuddin, two former Jimmy Fallon writers who just got green-lighted a new half-hour comedy show for HBO, also show up at the end of the promo clip. Their new HBO show, also produced by Lorne Michaels, is about Bashir and Diallo, two 30-year old-reporters who try to make it big in the burgeoning, contemporary Atlanta, aka the New South.

Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter Janelle Monae will serve as the musical guest and Raphael Saadiq will be the bandleader in the pilot episode.

Rudolph was part of the long time Lorne Michaels produced "Saturday Night Live" from 2000-2011, performing in hundreds of sketches. She sang as Beyoncé Knowles in the Prince Show sketches, played the character "Nooni Schoener" with Fred Armisen, and has impersonated everyone from Paris Hilton to Lisa Ling.

She also received an Emmy nomination in 2012 for being a guest actress in a comedy series. Most recently, Rudolph appeared on NBC's television show "Up All Night" from 2011-2013, the movie Grown Ups 2 in 2013, and in the hilarious and wildly popular 2011 film "Bridesmaids."

The question remains, what will "The Maya Rudolph Show" be about? And more importantly, will Rudolph bring back her great (late) Whitney Houston impersonation?
