James Franco’s instagram has a lot of shirtless selfies. The “Palo Alto” actor defended his habit of posting shirtless photos to David Letterman on "Late Night" Thursday May 8. "What do you do?" Letterman asked the actor. "You take pictures of everything in your life?"
"There's a lot to get straight here and I don't even know if we have time," Franco replied. "But to me, it's just a fun thing. It's something I don't put a ton of thought into, but it gets a lot of attention."
James Franco has a new movie coming out, also starring Kate Hudson. Franco and Hudson play an American couple, Tom and Anna Reed, who are forced to go on the run in “Good People.” After one of their neighbors doesn’t turn down the volume of his music, Tom Reed enters the neighbor’s apartment and discovers his dead body. He also comes across a bag stuffed with £220,000 worth of cash.
The Reeds take the money from a dead tenant in their building as they are falling behind on their mortgage payments. Unfortunately, they soon find themselves the target of the thief who originally stole the money and their lives turn into a cat and mouse game.
The thief says to the running couple, “Don't you know that when you find a pot of gold there's always a monster guarding it.”
“Good People” is set in London and also stars two-time Academy Award nominee Tom Wilkinson and Anna Friel. The movie is directed by Danish filmmaker Henrik Genz, it will go on limited release in July. The script was written by Kelly Masterson and is based on a 2008 novel of same name written by Marcus Sakey.
