Apple buys beats streaming business is a rumor that is floating around with little credibility. The fact is very few people can think of the deal as being a lucrative business for the Cupertino firm. But Apple execs know more about it than we do.
Reports suggest that Apple buys beats streaming music is about to happen as talks are underway by both parties.
The $3.2 deal will supposedly benefit Apples streaming music segment. With the iPhone coming to a full cycle and the wearable device prototype iWatch about to launch this year, it could be that folks at Cupertino are looking ahead to capture the next business in Apple's repertoire.
Should Apple seal the deal, it would be the biggest such buy for the iPhone maker. At any rate, the heavy investment in music hardware and streaming service from Beats gives investors an idea about where the company is headed and its plans for the future.
Apple's entry into the feature phone market was not a success with rivals like Nokia and low end Chinese clones monopolizing the scene. Although the iPhone has caught on among consumers as a symbol of quality, and status, the iPad has still to impress tablet users, who may see Samsung's Galaxy tab as a more handy and less expensive way of going tab.
The news of Beats Electronics merging with Apple Inc. created a wave of Tweets about the unfathomable reason for such a move on Apple's part and the following are sample tweets that express twetterdom's reaction to the potential takeover:
Apple announced they will be buying out Beats by Dre for 3.2 billion dollars or approximately 12 pairs of Beats by Dre.
"You really think that it's worth three billion dollars of Apple's money to buy Beats Audio?" "It's only 3 Instagrams."
Apple buying Beats for $3.2B is good argument to why they should redistribute profit to shareholders and not reinvest like amzn, goog, etc.

My theory: Apple is spending the money mostly to own this. https://bit.ly/1ntGAyx
Breaking: Entire Twittersphere now an expert on the genius and/or idiocy of Apple buying Beats.
Apple will combine Beats with Mobile Me to create the product we're all thinking: "Beats Me"
So the Beatles own Apple Records and Apple owns Beats Music. Some trademark lawyer is getting busy...
