One of the new cast members revealed some interesting "Avengers 2" spoilers that would make some fans wonder what directing style would Joss Whedon use for this film. The American director is famous for creating the cult hit TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Will we see his trademark dry humor in the sequel of "The Avengers"? Or will it turn out to be more serious and dramatic?
Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff, revealed that the "Age of Ultron" will be much darker than the first film. The sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will have an integral role in the second installment. She will star as Scarlet Witch, who is the brother of Pietro Maximoff or also known as Quicksilver. The actor who will portray the speedy mutant is Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Both actors recently co-starred in "Godzilla"; and Elizabeth spilled out some "Avengers 2" spoilers in one of their press interviews. The 25-year old actress revealed, "I'm a huge fan of the first and hopefully it can provide the same excitement, but add a little bit more darkness."
Elizabeth added, "It is a little harder than the first one." The Belfast Telegraph also reported that the "Martha Marcy May Marlene" star is enjoying working on her new movie. She said, "It's so much fun. I'm like smiling every day, going to bed. It's such a great time."
In a separate interview, IGN asked Elizabeth how she was preparing for her role in "Avengers: Age of Ultron". She revealed that she tries to get to know her character by reading more about Scarlet Witch. The actress said, "I wanted to get to know as many of the stories as I could regardless of it being relevant."
Elizabeth explained further, "So I asked Marvel to just give me a big bible binder of almost every single comic that she's been present in." She added, "It's pretty fun reading, because she's pretty awesome."
How do you feel about the "Avengers 2" spoilers that were revealed by Elizabeth Olsen? Do you think the sequel will be as dark as Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight"?
