Expect to find out more about The Legend Of Zelda on Wii U this June 2014 as producer Eiji Aonuma said he'll reveal more about the hugely anticipated game at E3!

The next Zelda game is expected to debut on the Nintendo Wii U. With that in mind, the hype surrounding this game is more than before and it will be a bummer for fans if they end up disappointed.

For starters, Zelda for Wii U should optimize the console to its max. The protagonist, Link, should be customizable to the max. It is clear that fans want a more personal experience with the game and getting the ability to tweak its looks and choose Link's gender will definitely offer that.

With the Wii U capabilities, Zelda should also be set in an open world where players will have to embrace exploration. In the vast map, hidden items should no longer be restricted to shops and dungeons.

In terms of the storyline, it shouldn't have a fix flow. This can be done by removing the timeline and adding in more side quest that can assist in the main storyline.

In an interview with Mashable, Aonuma was asked if he could reveal anything about the forthcoming Zerlda Wii U game and he simply replied: "I'll say more at E3 2014."

However, the Zelda series producer did discuss how Nintendo is considering how to incorporating an open world mechanic. "I think the most open-world Zelda we've had so far has been Wind Waker, just because you were able to sail the ocean and go all over the islands," added Aonuma. "When creating a game, we look at what is the core, kernel gameplay. You try to construct the game around that, and making that core mechanic the easiest to access.

"For Skyward Sword, that kind of narrowed, focused world helped us with that, but at the same time it meant you didn't have that wide-open world to explore. We've heard the complaint about lack of openness from a lot of fans. As we're deciding what the core gameplay mechanic was, we have that open-world desire at the forefront of our minds, and we're trying to figure out how to incorporate that as well."

Most important of all, fans want to see Zelda for Wii U in E3 next week. It will be the perfect cherry on top of a sundae pie. Everything else is in the hands of Nintendo. Will the game developer deliver?
