Still, Britain's Got Talent Season 8 finale audience views has been recorded as the lowest ever in the history of the said reality talent competition on British television, sliding from last year's 11.1 million views and 11.9 million views in 2012.

According to the insider from ITV, weekend viewership is reported to have been affected at a certain point because of warming weather condition in some parts of United Kingdom. Britain's Got Talent Season 8 finale's total viewer share of 51 percent was on par with the previous season finale.

Last Saturday, June 7, Britain's Got Talent Season 8 finale had its lowest-rated episode ever. It gained an average of 7.75 million viewers. According to few observers, the acts of the contestants are no longer exciting and there are way too many advertisements on the show. Does this mean that the show is already losing popularity?

As reported by previous season's statistics, the 2011 season finale of Britain's Got Talent gained a total average of 11.35 million viewers, while the third and fourth season finales gained more than 12 million viewers each. The first two seasons of Britain's Got Talent had a total of 11.52 million and 10.5 million viewers respectively according to past reports.
