Scott Caan, 37, is presently about to enter a new chapter of his life. Caan and girlfriend Kacy Byxbee are expecting their first child who is due "very soon". To date, no exact date has been revealed to the press regarding the birth of their firstborn.

A source informed Us Weekly, "They haven't been keeping it private really, she's just been working on her business with her family so she hasn't been around," The source also informed Life & Style, "Kacy's friend posted a photo of her very pregnant belly with the hashtag #babycaan on Instagram."

There are reports that Byxbee had a baby shower in Los Angeles only last weekend. She spent this moment of her life with her family and closest friends.

It is not certain when the couple started to date. However, what has been identified is that they first met on the set of Caan's TV series, "Hawaii Five-O".

Caan was asked about Byxbee during his interview on "Chelsea Lately in January of 2013, and he said, "She should get the purple heart because I'm a complete disaster." It was also in this very same interview that he indicated that they have been dating for "a couple years."

At present, the couple lives in Hawaii for the continued filming of Caan's CBS series, but according to him, Hawaii's relaxed nature and lack of "hustle" was not ideal for him. He said jokingly, "Everything's very slow-motion. I pick up the cup and they slowly pick the cup."

James Caan, the father of Scott, who also happens to be a celebrity himself, is reportedly looking forward to becoming a grandfather. According to the source, "His dad James is really close with him. He is very excited."

To date, both Caan and Byxbee have not given any comment on the subject at hand.
