Sony Xperia Updates To Include ‘Exclusive’ KitKat Features? Sony Starts To Release Android 4.4 Features On Selected Models

Music, media and mobile phone giant Sony is about to give some sort of 'free taste' to its Sony Xperia users. Starting today, Sony Xperia updates slowly became available in selected markets and will eventually roll out the latest Sony Xperia updates in the next few weeks. Sony Xperia updates include features from Android KitKat which will be available for selected Xperia models such as X, SP, T, TX, V, Z, ZL, ZR and the Xperia Tablet Z.

Rumored Android KitKat features to include in the latest Sony Xperia update are revealed as follows: a first look of the newly designed SmartApps and it now includes a Close All button, which seems to be a better option instead of swiping out unused apps over your Sony Xperia phone. Also, the Recent Apps feature now includes a Smart Backlight which appears to be working the exact same way as Smart Stay for Samsung phones. Aside from that, Android KitKat will have support for call handling, double tap feature and white balance.

For music lovers, there will be new sound features to be unveiled which includes audio accessory support and a high resolution audio USB - all of which will be experienced in the Xperia Sirius. The said audio USB will be used to get S Force audio and along with the XLOUD function, you will get a clear audio quality for your music.

Android KitKat also provided personalization features in the Sony Xperia update with its new My Xperia themes. Not only you can now customize how you want your Sony Xperia phone to look like, it also has power-packed battery management features such as location-based Wi-Fi and stamina mode which will allow the background data to disable in order to save more battery life.

Right now it is revealed that Sony Xperia Z will have these exclusive Android KitKat features first, followed by other models SP, T, TX and V in the following weeks.
