G.I. Joe release date set for 2016?

The Movieweb.com said that G.I. Joe release will be in 2016. But there is a rumor that Channing Tatum, who played Duke from the previous movies, could return in the upcoming G.I. Joe 3.

Many fans reacted when the G.I. Joe spoilers spread over the internet, saying that Duke, played by Channing Tatum, died.

director said that Duke played by Channing will have a comeback in the movie and he might seemingly meet his death in a Cobra ambush isn't an impossible thing in the G.I. Joe world.

Moreover, according to some sources, Chu says that the third film expects the returning characters and "exciting" newcomers. This statement created a lot of speculations about who will be in G.I. Joe 3. Additionally, the director also said the new film will definitely in 3D.

Though bringing back Duke is less important in the point of view of Paramount, the fact that Channing Tatum has hit the movie big is undeniable. His presence from the Rise of Cobra days, and having him share headlining status with Dwayne Johnson has contributed to be a box office draw.
