It seems like Co-team boss Paddy Lowe does not want to meddle in playground fights between their star racers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. He was quoted as saying "I'm not going to spend any time managing the relationships between the drivers in a direct manner" and that his drivers need to patch things up between themselves.

With regards to both racers competitiveness Lowe said ""They're very competitive, which is why sometimes there is friction. They have had various conversations with each other over the last 10 days, unprompted by any of the management and have come back here in great shape."

The incident happened during the Monaco Grand Prix in which German racer Nico Rosberg lock one of his wheels and went to the escape route at Mirabeau on his last lap. Because of this, Hamilton was prevented from completing his won lap which secured Rosberg pole position. Though race officials did not see any evidence of any offence, Rosberg was still surprised that he was asked to provide evidence.

When asked if he was OK about the event he said" Of course I need to apologize for having ruined his lap. But that's the way it is."

Hamilton on the other hand found the issue to be over blown. According to him "I've got to say that the whole rivalry thing with Nico has been overblown. I tweeted last week to say that we're friends and that's the way it is, and the way it always has been."

The 29-year-old Englishman took the initiative to call Rosberg and bury the hatchet. He said that what they have is a foundation of respect for each other and that he insist that they remain as friends in spite of the many races they have to face for Formula 1.

Hamilton added "We are going from strength to strength. People have ups and downs so it is no different from years we have been racing together. We move on. There is a long way to go and we are looking forward to that battle."

Indeed Formula One fans will be looking forward to the future races done by both these Mercedes team racers.
