Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's wedding was a huge affair. According to People, the couple tied the knot before an audience of more than 1,000 guests at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas. The 19 Kids And Counting star and her beau sealed their vows with their very first kiss.

"I think it is safer and makes it more special to wait to kiss until your wedding day. To save the physical side of your marriage for your wedding day and not going further than you should - we want to have no regrets," Duggar told People.

"You can really get to know each other on every level without the physical part of it. I am the most blessed man to have Jill," Dillard said as he expressed his thoughts in enjoying the wait to share their first kiss.

Daily Mail reported that not all of Jill's siblings could be a part of the bridal party instead according to People five of her sisters were bridesmaids, two brothers were groomsmen, her younger sisters and a niece served as flower girls, five brothers were ushers and a brother and nephew shared ring-bearer responsibilities.

Although marriage is a very exciting thing for the bride's parents, they seem to be a little less excited to see her moving out.

"It really hit me that Jill was leaving as she was packing her bag the other night. We all realised she was really leaving. We are so glad that Derick is an answer to her prayers. It's an emotional time, but a joyful time," Jim Bob, Jill's father said.

According to Daily Mail, the couple first met in Nepal in November after remotely communicating with one another via email and Skype. They began courting for five months before getting engaged.

The just marrieds plan to honeymoon at an undisclosed location.
