After "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 kicked off last June 10, TV series viewers got surprised when Alison came back after four seasons. Alison's return also makes PLL fans think if 'A' will finally be revealed, will it spell the end of the smash hit TV series? Apparently, it won't yet even though 'A' will be physically present in the current season.
We just recently heard that ABC Family renewed the highest-rated series for two more seasons, which will last until 2016. This means whether or not the mysterious 'A' character will be revealed, the show must go on. Shay Mitchell, playing Emily Fields, said that it will not be over for the show even if 'A' is uncovered.
Mitchell told the press during a junket last month, "I think that A could be found and there could still be problems."
"I still think we could dive in deeper into what led this person to do what they did and torment the girls in this way. And I would want to know the planning of how they did everything, so when you hit Hanna with that car, who was driving? How did you set that up? I think we need a whole season afterwards to explain how this was able to happen," she continued.
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 is not just about 'A' in the first place because it seems that Aria, Spender, Hanna, and Emily have to deal with the return of Alison.
"I just think that now that Alison's back, she might not realize how much the girls have changed," Mitchell said. She also added, "They were all little followers of her before and now they're very strong and independent in their own right. Having the Queen Bee come back-you might not be the Queen Bee anymore. I think for each of the girls, they have their own problems that they're going through now that Alison's back. They thought it was going to be a piece of cake and what they all wanted and they're realizing it's not going to be as easy as they thought. I think for Emily, it has a lot to do with her relationship with Page. It's trying to figure out where her and Alison stand Is it still that love that she had for her before on a romantic level or is it just friends?"
Perhaps, the revelation of the identity of 'A' is the beginning of mysteries that will make viewers get more hooked on the TV series.
The "Pretty Little Liars" star has recently graced the international magazine Esquire Philippines cover in black lingerie.
