Charlie Hunnam left the 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' movie for his hit television show 'Sons Of Anarchy.' The 34-year-old Sons of Anarchy star recently revealed the move was a "heartbreaking" one.
"I felt like I had an interesting take on that character and felt like I could have done a good job of playing Christian Grey, otherwise I wouldn't have taken it on in the first place," he told Life & Style at the Huading Film Awards in Hollywood last week.
'Fifty Shades Of Grey' author EL James confirmed the British hunk and actress Dakota Johnson would play the roles of Christian and Anastasia Steele last September.
Just one month later, Universal Pictures announced Charlie had exited the film due to conflicts with his shooting schedule for the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy, currently filming its seventh season.
It was recently revealed that Marilyn Manson will be joining the cast in a recurring role for the upcoming season, playing a white supremacist named Ron Tully according to the Daily Mail.
Marilyn Manson is fulfilling a dream, starring in the seventh and final season of his favorite TV shows, 'Sons of Anarchy' according to Loudwire. Manson will not only contribute some music for the show, but he will have a recurring role in the series finale.
Manson is playing the role of Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison shot-caller whom Jax (Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base.
Manson stated recently about his role, "'Sons' has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's. So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of 'Sons of Anarchy' is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle."
Earlier this spring, 'Sons of Anarchy' show creator Kurt Sutter tweeted that he was listening to one of Manson's new songs, a track that he called "potent, creepy and cool."
