From UPI, it is reported that there will be a next sequel to Beverly Hills Cop debuted in 1984. Known cast here is Eddie Murphy who played Detective Axel Foley.
Foley originally lives and works in Detroit, and soon assign to Beverly Hills, California to solve his best friend's murder.
The upcoming movie sequel is inspired by two other sequels, Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994).
The fourth installment will revolve on the story where Foley returns to Detroit "during the coldest winter on record to navigate the new rules and old enemies in one of America's most tenacious cities."
Is Eddie Murphy still goind to play as Detective Foley?
According to IMBD.com, Murphy is still the chosen cast for detective Axel Foley.
The next movie sequel is planned to be released in 2016. However, no confirmation yet has been made for the exact date of the premiere.

Recently, Eddie Murphy was involved in a feud against Brando Murphy according to TMZ (they also got a letter from Eddie Murphy's Lawyer).
The comedian filed defamation case, however, the young, newbie comedian, Brando Murphy answered all allegations filed against him.
Though Brando fights back, the court rulings favored Eddie Murphy.
According to Judge William Stewart, he agreed that Brando Murphy's claims fall into the category of specially protected activity under California's anti-SLAPP statute.
He also added that Brando's complaint has failed to show how the National Enquirer and The Wendy Williams Show acted with actual malice insofar as having "knowledge that their statements were false or that they acted with reckless disregard for the truth."
Last May 30, the judge adapted a tentative ruling and expected to be issued any day. But Brando is not waitng and he appealed the ruling earlier last week.
