Actor Joo Ji Hon has come a long way in terms of his acting career, but his role as Crown Prince Lee Shin in the 2006 hit drama "Goong" remains to be one of his most memorable yet.

During a promotional interview for his upcoming film "Good Friends" on the 2nd, he shared, "It's so embarrassing for me to watch 'Goong' now. I was really awkward."

He continued, "I was lucky because my debut project is already a lead role, but because I was still new to acting, I had a lot of faults and weaknesses, and it just showed in the drama. Now that I have been acting for a long time, I feel more comfortable on set, and I think that I've become more natural in my acting."

In addition, he said, "I was originally a model, and because of that, I didn't think I would be suited in the acting industry. I didn't feel accepted as an actor either; but now, many people see me as an actor, including myself, and I have felt much more comfortable in acting."

Alongside Ji Sung and Lee Kwang Soo, Joo Ji Hoon stars in "Good Friends," a story of three friends who face trust and honesty issues when they face problems that will challenge their long-time friendship.

"Good Friends" is scheduled to premiere on July 10.
