Tracy Morgan accident update features the creators of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" deciding to postpone the series which is intended to star the "30 Rock" actor.

Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton all decided not to begin the filming of their new show at the FXX network, mainly to give way to the actor/comedian's recovery following the Tracy Morgan accident.

In a report by Classicallite.com FX Network released an official statement regarding the new series starring Tracy Morgan.

"The only thing we are concerned with is the health and recovery of Tracy Morgan and the victims of this tragic accident," an excerpt of the statement about the Tracy Morgan accident update reads. "We will support Tracy and his family in every way possible throughout his recovery."

Tracy Morgan was involved in a near fatal accident in early-June at the New Jersey turnpike after a Walmart truck driven by Kevin Roper smashed into the rear end of the limo truck carrying the 45-year old actor/comedian and some friends.

The Tracy Morgan accident killed comedinan James "Jimmy Mack" McNair and six others. Tracy Morgan sustained a broken a broken nose, ribs, and femur and was in critical condition for several weeks.

Meanwhile, Roper was released after posting a $50,000 bail. During his arraignment in mid-June, he also entered a plea of not guilty.

The network also stated that they will be waiting for Tracy Morgan's full recovery, and that they will begin filming soon once he is ready.

"At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him," the statement reads. Right now our thoughts and prayers remain with Tracy, the other victims of the accident, and their families."

Publicist Lewis Kay also released a statement regarding the Tracy Morgan accident update. He confirmed that while his client is already in stable condition, the road to recovery is long.

"Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks," he said. "While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go."
