"Game of Thrones" season 5 cast Sophie Turner talked about her Sansa character in the HBO hit series as the dark horse, as she goes all out for the new "Oblivion" music video by the band Bastille.
Speaking to Nylon magazine, "Game of Thrones" season 5 cast Sophie Turner said that season 4 has been good to her character because fans are beginning to see her as the dark horse out of all the characters in Westeros.
"Sansa has gone from a vulnerable 13-year-old girl, and she is transformed," she said. "She has been learning from all these people at court on how to manipulate others and she is actually putting it into practice now."
The 18-year-old actress said that it used to affect her when fans hated her character because of Sansa's weakness, but she said that any 13-year-old thrust into the politics in King's Landing would have acted the same way Sansa did.
"If she had spoken up in court at any point she would have gotten herself killed. She is being compliant with the people she hates just so that she can bide her time and then she can actually get her own back," Sophie Turner said.
Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" season 5 cast Sophie Turner will be next seen in the music video "Oblivion" by the band Bastille from their album Bad Blood.
"The red head looks terrified as she tries to wow the crowds with her lyrical talent at a demolition derby event," MailOnline said in describing her role in the music video. "She then tentatively looks out into the crowds and showcases a more off duty fashion stance than her normal medieval trends."
Earlier, UK's Mirror reported the "Game of Thrones" season 5 cast Sophie Turner and The Vamps guitarist James McVey's are dating even if they are trying to keep their romance low key.
A source also confirmed Sophie Turner and The Vamps guitarist James McVey's romance to The Sun: "It's still early days. She has just really broken into the big time through Game of Thrones and James and his band are constantly travelling to gigs.
