They've been engaged for three years, but it looks like Kate Hudson is in no hurry to get married to her fiancé Matt Bellamy. The actress went on popular daytime talk show The View to promote her new movie, Wish I Was Here and had no qualms sharing details of her relationship with the Muse rocker on Monday, July 21.

Hosts Jenny McCarthy and Whoopi Goldberg asked the blonde actress when she was planning to exchange wedding vows to the musician, and Hudson responded that she doesn't really have to. "I just don't have-I'm happy. We're married. We've got kids and a family and we've got to find our time together alone," she explains. "We are in it. I think if we do get married it will be for the kids, really. For us, we're just happy."

She adds, "I know that's not really necessarily a golden ticket but there is something beautiful about the security of marriage. And we'll get there when we get there."

Hudson and Bellamy, both 36, got engaged in April 2011. Three months later, the then pregnant actress gave birth to son Bingham. Rumors that their marriage was in turmoil surfaced this January, but a number of sources said that the pair were able to overcome their problems and were "so in love" in April.

As the interview went on, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress also revealed how their family interacts at home. While she has a son with Bellamy, Hudson also has another son, Ryder, from a previous marriage with Chris Robinson, lead vocalist for The Black Crowes.

"I wouldn't say I'm conventional, but then again what is conventional these days? I've got two children from two different fathers so that's definitely unconventional," she said.

As a mom, Kate admits that she has her tough side, too. "I'm actually a strict parent. I'm very strict. I'm strict when it comes to manners. I don't like-think kids get too much too fast," she explained. "So Ryder of course wants a cell phone like every 10-year-old kid now. It starts around 10 and I'm just like 'You can get a pager.' He can get a pager when he's 12."
