Former France First Lady Valerie Trierweiler started 2014 in a really bad note. Last month, the 49-year old journalist learned that her husband, President François Hollande, has an affair with actress Julie Gayet. Trierweiler felt so bad about it that she was admitted to hospital on January 10 to get a rest and undergo some test. By January 25, the beautiful broadcaster announced that she has ended her seven-year relationship with the country's most powerful man.
With all the problems Trierweiler is going through, one company is trying to offer something she can be busy with, to forget everything that she is going through. Note: it is the kind of company that is offering something that is outlandish and totally absurd, at least for a woman like Hollande's former wife.
YouPorn, the world-famous porn website, is said to be inviting the French journalist to become their 'ambassador.' In a letter published by the company for Trierweiler, YouPorn VP Brad Burns directly asked the the French woman to become their ambassador and spokeswoman.
The letter says:
Given your recent unfortunate personal circumstances, we envision a possibility whereby you may be visiting some of our website properties in the near future. Couple that with your past experiences as a journalist, we think you would be a perfect candidate to act as our French ambassador, a post where you would be responsible for generating content around European pornography habits and act as a spokesperson.
Frankly, we have always admired the more liberal European attitude towards sex and believe that you may allow us to open more eyes to the importance of what we do. Given your high-profile and journalistic experience, we are willing to offer you a one-year $500,000 (U.S.D.) contract.
Trierweiler is yet to give a response (although we think she wouldn't give it a time). Still, this publicity has already generated a lot of buzz, mostly positive for the porn site.
"Reactions have been mostly positive, especially from users in France who would love to see Valerie take the offer," Burns said. "After all, there's nothing the general public loves more than to see an underdog make a comeback."
"I can tell you we've seen a drastic increase in people searching for videos of Trierweiler on the site."
