Good news gaming fans! It seem Mortal Kombat X will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

BREATH Cast reports, that Mortal Kombat X will be available on consoles PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, and for the PC next year.

Amazon recently released a listing of Mortal Kombat X's release date, but gave it a vague 2015. According to gaming news site Cyberland, an insider claimed that the PR officer for NetherRealm Studios has confirmed that the Mortal Kombat X release date is set for March 2015 on digital download.

IGN website's YouTube channel has uploaded a video containing information on the possible guest characters that will join the roster of Mortal Kombat X.

The video mentioned that five characters are rumored to be a part of Mortal Kombat X and these are Pinhead from Hellraiser, Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko, Spawn, Ash Williams of Evil Dead, and a Predator from Predator film franchise.

Twitter user @JordanFortiz tweeted a photo of Spawn to Ed Boon hinting that the Mortal Kombat creator might consider adding him into the roster.

Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon also teased fans that two iconic movie slashers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. Freddy Krueger was one of the guest characters in the previous Mortal Kombat game along with God of War protagonist Kratos.

"Friday the 13th," and its hockey masked Jason Voorhees. With the date just passing, fans were curious about the possibility of Crystal Lake's worst breast stroker featuring in the next MK title. "More likely than a DC Hero."

GAMENGUIDE reports that Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios may consider adding Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th in the game. But, the website later claimed that it won't happen due to the fact that Warner Bros. relinquished its rights to New Line Cinemas as Paramount Pictures started working on the next Friday the 13th movie.
