Rita Ora, the singer behind the hit "How We Do," will play her first major acting role in the highly anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades Of Grey"
And as she shared with Access Hollywood, she really had to learn a lot for her role in one of the most anticipated films of 2014- "Fifty Shades of Grey." Ora will play Mia, Christian Grey's (played by Jamie Dornan) adopted sister.
"I was a bit kind of stressed out during the audition process," she said. "When I got that phone call I was so happy. I couldn't wait to tell everybody."
However, the hard work didn't begin until her first shooting day. The UK born How We Do" singer needed to perfect her American accent.
When asked about her "incredibly difficult" experience, Ora said:
"I had to have someone in my ear on set telling me what to say before I said it. Because I was honestly so nervous, I forgot everything I learned."
Good thing, she had her friend and fellow "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast member, Dakota Johnson, to help her. Johnson is set to play the female lead, Anastasia Steele.
"She really eased me. She was really nice to take care of me."
Furthermore, Ora only had good words to say about the "Fifty Shades" cast:
"The movie is as close as it can visually be. I think the actors are phenomenal in this. I'm just honored to be on the same kind of wavelength as them."
The film is an adaptation of the erotic romance novel of the same title by E.L. James. It is slated for a 2015 release.
