Maksim Chmerkovskiy Done With DWTS: 'I'm Done Here' is what Maksim Chmerkovskiy has to say about professional dancing. He said that Dancing With The Stars could use a few more professional dancers and he's just taking up space. One of Maks' observations about DWTS is that there aren't adquate 'Legitimate Celebrties.

"I'm done dancing," Maks shared with the View. "I feel like it's time."

"I saw that there were a lot of changes last season. I took a year off. I skipped two seasons and I came back. I personally fell in love with the show. It's not something I need to say now that I'm not even part of it, but it's definitely amazing entertainment...I do think it needs to stay on. I'm a big supporter of anything dance related. And I think it's brilliant," Maks said on EOnline. "My problem is that we're running out of legitimate celebrities. That's the problem."

Maks' decision to leave follows a train of rumors about Chmerkovskiy's dating and his affinity to his dancing partners. In the most recent rumors, former dancing partner Kirstie Alley has ended her friendship with Maksim - who knows why?

Previous rumors of his dating included J.Lo, who said no to dating rumors with Maks, while Meryl Davis remained cautious and diplomatic in her response, saying she prefers to keep hier private life, which might just be the same as what Maks is saying, 'It's nobody business who I date."

Despite his leaving as a pro dancer, he is not ruling out takig participating in other aspects of the show, i.e. as a judge. Some reports say that Maks will judging dance shows in India; Bollywood will keep him busy.
