Actress Kristen Stewart isn't part of the bubbly Hollywood crowd and she has no problem with that whatsoever.
Stewart's refusal to smile, which people have now caught on to, has been interpreted as the "Twilight" star having a "bad attitude," which she has now accepted.
"Now I feel like if I smiled for a paparazzi photo - not that I ever world - that's exactly what people would be desecrating me for. They'd be like, 'Now you're going to give it up, now you're a sellout.' Like, okay. What do you want? What would you like?" Stewart told Elle magazine.
Former boyfriend Robert Pattinson had previously explained Kristen Stewart's "refusal to smile" as well.
"People have decided how they are going to perceive her. No matter how many times she smiles, they'll put in the one picture where she's not smiling," Robert Pattinson told Vanity Fair back in 2012.
No matter what anyone says, Kristen Stewart will continue to work her way to the top, even after her highly publicized breakup with ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Kristen Stewart's ability to just be who she is might be the quality that has gotten her as famous as she is now.
"Never at any point have I sat down and plotted how I should proceed from here on. As soon as you start thinking about your career as a trajectory - like, as if you're going to miss out on some wave or momentum - then you're never doing anything for yourself anyway. Then you're truly, actually, specifically working for the public. You're tuning yourself into a bag of chips," explained the actress, according to Today.com.
