"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 spoilers reveal a familiar face as Terrell Owens joined the cast for an episode that promises to be a riot. The trailer for the second season was released and although short, it's nonetheless as funny as what fans have gone to expect for the show.
The Entertainment Weekly dished out "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 spoilers when it confirmed the guest appearance of the ex-NFL wide receiver.
Terrell Owens will play himself in an episode featuring a football game between the New York Police Department and the Fire Department of New York.
"He'll square off against Sgt. Terry Jeffords (former NFL linebacker Terry Crews) and the Nine-Nine precinct in another cop-versus-fireman football game," the site said.
Meanwhile, fans who are looking for "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 spoilers can take solace from the 22-second teaser released by the studio, and Bustle said that the video uploaded on YouTube doesn't disappoint.
"The 22-second clip is short, but of course, it will make you laugh out loud. It's 'owesome,'" the website said.
The site also revealed more "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" spoilers when it reported the guest appearances of Kyra Sedgwick who will play the arch-rival of Captain Holt (Andre Braugher). Jenny Slate will also be added as a Bianca, a mob mistress who will provide invaluable help to Jake (Adam Samberg).
Although largely snubbed by the Emmys, even if "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won in the Golden Globes, showrunner David Miner is more optimistic the second time around. Andre Braugher however was acknowledged for best supporting actor in a comedy series.
"We're happily on the TV Academy's radar. It takes time to build groundswell with them and we're happy this time around to be considered," the executive producer said, per Bustle.
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 2 will premiere on September 28 on Fox Network.
