After Joss Whedon announced that they have finished filming the "Avengers 2", "Iron Man 4" rumors started to emerge. Robert Downey Jr. has already signed a contract to star in "Avengers 3" which is scheduled for release on 2019. Basically, there will be a 4-year gap between two films which is enough to fit in another Marvel movie. Would they make another "Iron Man" film soon?

The actor that made Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man famous showed interest in doing another sequel. Downey Jr. told EW, "It's down to Kevin (Feige, Marvel president) and Ike (Perlmutter, Marvel Entertainment CEO) and Disney to come to us with what the proposal is, and that's on us to agree or disagree."

Forbes recently named Robert Downey Jr. as the highest earning actor in Hollywood. His status increased the chances of having "Iron Man 4" rumors come true. He also revealed to the website, "When things are going great, there's a lot of agreement." Maybe he is just waiting to be offered a huge talent fee to agree into doing another "Iron Man" film.

If ever "Iron Man 4" will push through, there have been rumors that the plot will be based on the comic book series "Demon in a Bottle" according to Pop Watch. Tony Stark develops Ultron, which was designed to lead his drones during their battle against the evildoers. However, things went wrong and the AI started targeting humans making the playboy billionaire responsible for the chaos.

The latest "Iron Man 4" rumors revealed that Tony Stark will be struggling with depression and alcoholism because of what transpired in the film. Movie Pilot speculated, "Could the aftermath of such a traumatic event fundamentally change the Tony Stark character - and potentially give him a character arc Robert Downey Jr. would be interested in pursuing for one last standalone movie?"

The website also reported, "It would be brutal viewing, but also exactly the sort of thing that Robert Downey Jr. is fully capable of making into something incredible." There were also rumors that the plot could feature Tony Stark's retirement from being Iron Man.

What do you think of the latest "Iron Man 4" rumors? Is Marvel capable of showing a different side of Tony Stark?
