The "How Do We Do" singer cancelled attending the 2014 Teen Choice Awards at the last minute as she said she was "devastated." Rumors said that it has something to do with the Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split issue.
In her Rita Ora Twitter account, the "I Will Never Let You Down" singer tweeted her apology for not attending the popular awards held in Los Angeles without explaining the reason behind the last minute cancellation, the Daily Mail said.
"Guys I am so sorry. I will make it up to you. I promise. I'm devastated. I love my fans," Rita Ora said to her fans.
The "How Do We Do Singer" also took to Instagram to extend her apology to her fans.
She posted a photo showing the words "I [heart] U Teen Choice" on a whiteboard and captioned it, "Sorry I couldn't be there."
The insider added that the Brit singer have been rehearsing for more than a week for her 2014 Teen Choice Awards performance but producer and songwriter Calvin Harris reportedly declined for her to perform his song.
Reports have been circulating that the chart-topper singer's sophomore album is also on a rocky road as ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris pulled out the songs he made for her when they were still together.
Calvin Harris, meanwhile, took to social media on Saturday morning to post what he feels as he said "You act so innocent now...but you lied so soon" which he lifted from his song "Summer."
Rita Ora's ex-boyfriend later posted a meme of a dog's face saying, "When you start realizing s--t."
Rita Ora recently revealed in to Glamour U.K. September issue that she is not "doing great" after she broke-up with the producer.
"I'm gonna tell you the truth: I'm not doing too great," she said, referring to the Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split.
She added, "But, I'm doing better than I thought. I adore him and he's such an amazing human being. It was more about the situation. It was inconvenient. It sucks. It wasn't about 'us.' It was about the world we live in."
Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split was announced by the Scottish producer via his Twitter account after a year-long relationship.
