Fans can't wait to find out who will become Taylor Swift's new boyfriend. The 24-year old singer has been single since January 2013 so it's been more than a year since she had a man in her life. Very unlikely for the "Shake It Off" hitmaker who is known for dating some of the hottest bachelors in Hollywood. Included in her list of ex-boyfriends are Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, and John Mayer.

After her last break up, Taylor Swift decided to focus more on her career and her BFFs instead of finding a new boyfriend. She has formed new friendship with young superstars like her such as Lorde and Lena Dunham. During an interview with The Guardian, the singer was asked if female friendship become more important to her than romance.

Taytay answered, "Without a doubt. Because the other alternative - as in having a boyfriend - isn't really possible right now. It just doesn't seem like a possibility in the near future. It doesn't ever work. What works is having incredible girlfriends who I can trust and tell anything."

So does that mean we won't be seeing Taylor Swift with a new boyfriend anytime soon? Fans are wondering why the sudden change of heart because she is known for jumping from one relationship to another. Her romance usually ends after two to three months so she could have gotten tired of going through break ups. Was she traumatized by her past relationships?

The "Red" singer revealed to The Guardian, "I think that one thing I'm really afraid of is ... that magic doesn't last." Swift explained, "That butterflies and daydreams and love, all these things that I hold so dear, are going to leave some day. I haven't had a relationship that's lasted for ever. I only know about them starting and ending. Those are my fears. I spend a lot of time balancing between faith and disbelief."
