"House of Cast" cast Rachel Brosnahan will lead a new CBS mini-series titled "The Dovekeepers," as season 3 spoilers reveal Pussy Riot's appearance on the show.
The TVGuide confirmed that Rachel Brosnahan will play the role of Yael, described as a "fearless young woman whose own mother died while giving birth to her, and whose father blames her for that loss."
According to the CBS official release, the four-hour mini-series involving "House of Cards" cast Rachel Brosnahan is based on the novel by Alice Hoffman which chronicles the story about four women whose lives intertwined during the Masada siege and forced to leave Jerusalem.
As to Yael, she will find romance amid all that chaos. She will also have some support from Shirah, a fellow refugee who will be played by Cote de Pablo of "NCIS."
Meanwhile, Baltimore's weekly City Paper offered "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers when it reported the appearance of the Russian punk group Pussy Riot.
The publication noted that Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova were on the Baltimore set of the show. It also talked to two sources in production who confirmed the "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers by revealing that the two female members of the band are indeed going to be guesting in season 3.
Earlier, the Latin Times proposed "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers when it surmised that Russia would be the main focus of this season, just like it touched on foreign diplomacy with China in season 3.
"First, there will be a 'formidable' new Russian character ... and secondly, the show tried to film in Russia," it said.
Ironically, the producton team's request to film inside the UN Security Council's chambers was nixed by Russia early last month. The Russian envoy said that the council should be available at all times in case it needs to convene for an emergency meeting.
