The Uncharted 4: Thief's End release date has been revealed after Naughty Dog has confirmed The Last of Us 2!
Sony's E3 press conference closed with a teaser trailer for the fourth game in Naughty Dog's hit Uncharted series.
Development on Uncharted 4 was confirmed last year at the PlayStation 4 launch event, and since then the rumor mill hasn't stopped grinding out conjecture.
One rumor in particular stubbornly insisted the game would get stage time at E3, and when confirmation came tonight it was received with enthusiastic cheers.
The trailer shows a battered Nathan Drake waking up in a sandy river bed in a jungle, with a voiceover from Sully confirming the pair have reunited. As the clip ends, the camera pans to reveal cages hanging from the trees.
The Sequel is subtitled "Thief's End", suggesting that this may be the last entry in the popular franchise.
While the trailer didn't reveal much, it did confirm a release date for some time in 2015 to which gaming news Cyberland has revealed to be on September 2015.
Cyberland also revealed that aside from the Uncharted 4 release date announcement, Sony is sure that the game would run on 1080p at 60 fps and that Naughty Dog is looking into developing The Last of Us 2!
