K-pop star EunB was declared dead after her group, Ladies Code, was involved in a fatal car crash.

The 22-year-old was killed after the band's van crashed into a protective wall in Suwon. Ladies Code members Rise and So Jung are currently in the hospital after both met serious injuries, according to Metro UK.

Polaris Entertainment, Ladies Code's label released a statement saying, "After a schedule in Daegu on September 2, Ladies' Code was headed back to Seoul. Around 1:30AM in Suwon, an issue occurred with the car's back wheel coming off. With the rainy road and wheel coming off, the vehicle spun several times, hitting a guardrail."

"Due to this, Eun Bi unfortunately passed away. The other members, Rise is in critical condition while So Jung is injured and hospitalized, currently receiving treatment. The other members, manager, and stylists, who were in the car, did not receive serious injuries."

The statement continued, "We want to apologize to all the fans and everyone who have received much shock, and we ask for everyone to pray for the quick recovery of the members."

Meanwhile, following EunB's death, Ladies Code's hit song "I'm Fine, Thank You," has ranked number one on the charts in South Korea.

Fans of the young singer also took their thoughts to Twitter and have expressed their disdain over their idol's passing, Hollywood Life reported.

Twitter user @seuIrene wrote, "eunb's literal last tweet was about how much she loved ladies' code's fans if this doesn't break your heart then I don't what will."

@BTSBucketList tweeted, "Lets remember EunB with a smile on her face, lets remember her as the happy and beautiful girl that she is."

@oniontaker wrote, "EunB, you wished that LC could be #1 some day. @LC_EunB I'm sorry it comes too late."

@simpeul added, "Eunb's death just made me realize that we should cherish the time we have with the idols we love and they're also human just like everyone else."
