'Grimm' season three left viewers on edge after Adalind (Claire Coffee) made Nick Burkhardt (David Guintoli) lose his powers, just to strike a deal with Prince Viktor (Alexis Denisof ) to get her baby back.
What Adalind doesn't know, however, is that her baby isn't with the royals. Diana was actually given to Nick's mom for safekeeping.
'Grimm' season 4 will find Adalind flying to Europe to retrieve her baby but what will happen when she finds out that Prince Viktor lied to her?
Adalind and the royals won't be the only one looking for Diana though. TVLine reports that they will have some competition in the search.
According to showrunner David Greenwalt, there will be a "new character who will enter the fray who also really wants to find that baby."
Meanwhile, TVGuide also reported CSI alum, Louise Lombard, as a new addition to 'Grimm' season 4. She will play "a mysterious woman connected to the royal families."
Lombard appeared as the recurring character Sofia Curtis in 'CSI.' She also appeared in 'NCIS: LA' and Lifetime's 'The Lottery.'
Will she be the mysterious character that's interested in the new royal baby? More importantly, will she be a villain or an ally to Nick and his friends?
Another possible person could be Captain Sean Renard's (Sasha Roiz) mother who will reportedly be making an appearance in the new season.
Although Roiz confirmed that Renard is "not really" dead and will come back for 'Grimm' season 4, will his near-death experience prompt his mother to look for her granddaughter?
Nick, on the other hand, will be facing an internal conflict of his own as he struggles with losing his Grimm powers. He'll also have to rely on Trubel, especially with a new nasty Wesen in town.
Greenwalt previously confirmed an octopus-like villain for the new season. Gedächtnis Esser or Octo-Man can take people's memories using his tentacles. He will leave his victims either badly hurt or dead as he steals their identity "in a very disgusting way."
Who do you think will be looking for Adalind's baby? Will they catch up with Nick's mom and Diana?
Find out when 'Grimm' season 4 premieres on NBC on October 24.
