The person who we least expect talk about "Ghostbusters 3" just revealed a few days ago who he wants to be included in the new sequel. Dan Aykroyd, who starred as Ray Stantz in the two "Ghostbusters" films, announced that Billy Murray was out of the third sequel. The actor that played Peter Venkman in the film franchise explained why he showed disinterest in "Ghostbusters 3".

Bill Murray told Dazed Digital, "They want to refresh the franchise. The franchise is fantastic. But I find that you don't really lose by saying no in show business. If you say no, sometimes they come back with a better script. Or sometimes it just goes away. But I don't know."

Maybe producer Ivan Reitman has come up with a better script now and there are even rumors that they are getting an all-female ghostbusters. The idea thrilled the 63-year old actor and he even gave out his list of actresses who he wants to join the "Ghostbusters 3" cast.

Bill Murray revealed to The Star, "Melissa McCarthy (The Heat) would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids) is so funny - God, she's funny!" He added, "I like this girl Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there."

Having heard that she was personally chosen by the veteran actor to join "Ghostbusters 3", Kristin Wiig was really honored. The 41-year old actress told Yahoo Movies, "That's very flattering." She also said, "I guess they're making one from what I hear, which is pretty great."

Now the big question is if she is willing to take the offer. The SNL legend said, "I will do whatever Bill Murray tells me to." If ever Kristin Wiig will be joining "Ghostbusters 3", then she may reunite with the director of "Bridesmaids". According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Feig has emerged as the front-runner to direct the third sequel and he has shown interest in taking on the project.

Do you think getting actresses to headline "Ghostbusters 3" is a great idea or not?
