MBC's 'The King, Two Hearts' hasn't shown any sign of disappointment after a decrease in viewer ratings.
An insider stated with confidence, "Starting from the 5th episode, things are going to change...The first 4 episodes' purpose was to introduce the storyline. Starting from the 5th, the plot will pick up with an abundance of content. Dramas typically give viewers the chance to get used to the storyline first. But it's not like the first four episodes were weak....I've seen the scripts for episodes 5 and 6. They were so entertaining I couldn't put them down. The storyline will definitely pick up starting from episode 5."
There was also criticism about how the characters seemed too "made up." The insider answered with, "As the drama continues, the characters will look more natural and more fun."
On the other hand, the drama is still maintaining its first place among its competitors in viewer ratings.
