"Tomorrow Cantabile" releases its second set of teasers featuring the main character Seol Nae Il, who will be portrayed by actress Shim Eun Kyung.
Following the release of Joo Won's photo teasers as the music student Cha Yoo Jin, Shim Eun Kyung will be seen for the first time as her character Seol Nae Il, an eccentric but exceedingly talented piano major who will change the life of Cha Yoo Jin with her determination and quirky personality.
The actress shared her thoughts on playing the character, and said, "Seol Nae Il is someone who moves to her own music and pace. If I think too much about how to portray her, it will make things difficult for me, so I'm just making myself as comfortable as possible.
She added, "More than being pressured, I'm very excited."
Shim Eun Kyung, who is best known for her unique characters in the films "Sunny" and "Miss Granny," was the original choice to portray the character, but declined the role at first because of scheduling conflicts. Eventually, she accepted the role due to insistent demand by both the production company and its audience.
Being the Korean adaptation of the highly successful Japanese drama "Nodame Cantabile," "Tomorrow Cantabile" is named as one of the most anticipated dramas for the second half of 2014.
The drama will begin airing on October 13.
