Rihanna took to Twitter this morning to express her anger towards CBS for wanting to use her track "Run This Town" as the Thursday Night Football opener this week after pulling the song from last week's premiere, according to Boston.com.
"CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, F*** you! Ya'll are sad for penalizing me for this," Rihanna wrote on her Twitter account.
After the tweets "The Monster" singer made, CBS reportedly announced they would be editing a song featuring Rihanna's voice out of its Thursday night NFL telecasts, according to the media outlet.
"Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our Thursday Night Football open. We will be using our newly created 'Thursday Night Football' theme music to open our game broadcast," CBS Sports said in a statement.
CBS was reportedly scheduled to play "Run This Town" in an opener during the Baltimore Ravens V.S. Pittsburgh Steelers game last week, but pulled the segment due to the domestic violence case surrounding former Ravens player Ray Rice, according to the NY Daily News.
The network reportedly chose to feature an interview with anchor Norah O'Donnell and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell about the NFL's handling of the case.
Rihanna's response on Twitter reportedly came a week after CBS pulled the song.
"The audacity. . . " Rihanna added on her social media account.
